My Story
I went to my first Scentsy party in November 2010. Although hearing about the product and how much people loved it, I had never had anything for myself. At the party I just ordered some scentsy bars, as I already had a warmer from somewhere else at home. I instantly fell in love with it as that one little square of wax made my whole house smell YUMMY! I wanted to have a party of my own. Unfortunately, I was just going into my busy season at work, also known as tax season. So I scheduled my party for May, after everything settled down a little bit. I was so excited to have everyone over to my house to see the product and smell the scents. It was so easy to get ready for too. I just cleaned the house a little bit, bought some drinks, easy snacks, as my consultant said, “you don’t have to make anything, people come to see the products, not for the snacks.” I thought, Great!! Easy!! After my party, I felt great. I ended up getting $164.00 worth of product for $34.00. I immediately started brainstorming. I wanted to give people that same rewarding feeling. I even found myself selling it to people and I didn’t even realize I was doing it. So I started doing some research on how to become a consultant. Even as a person who is afraid to stand up in front of people and talk, everything just seemed so exciting to me. I talked to my husband, who was already somewhat on board with me, as I had to order a mid-size warmer and three scentsy man scents for him from my party. He was very supportive and started throwing ideas my way on different things I could do and things he could help me with. As my excitement built, I started talking to my family and friends and their feedback was outstanding. The next week I signed up!! I am looking forward to my future with Scentsy and people involved in it. Thank you for letting me share my story with you.
